Tipperary’s Shane Breen and the 11-year-old mare Haya have taken victory in today’s Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Hickstead’s five-star Nations Cup fixture in the UK. The win was Breen’s fourth Queen Elizabeth II Cup win and the second year in-a-row that he has won the trophy with Haya.
Breen’s clear in 37.42 seconds saw him finish a second ahead of British runner-up Harriet Biddick with Night Of Glory OL, while Derry’s David Simpson finished third with Flashback VL.
