Second five-star win in 24 hours for Irish-bred MGH Candy Girl (ISH)


The 11-year-old mare MGH Candy Girl (ISH), bred by Timothy Kelleher in Co. Cork, has today (Saturday) claimed another big win at Amsterdam’s five-star World Cup show in The Netherlands, this time proving unbeatable in the 1m45 speed class with Britain’s Matt Sampson in the saddle.


They finished a second and-a-half ahead of Germany’s Jana Wargers with Chacco’s Lady 2, while Ireland’s Denis Lynch finished third aboard Cornets Iberio. On Friday, MGH Candy Girl (ISH) took victory in Amsterdam’s 1m40 speed class.
