Irish-bred BBS McGregor (ISH) helps UAE to home Nations Cup victory

A brilliant double clear round from the Irish-bred gelding BBS McGregor (ISH), bred in Kilkenny by Marguerite Ryan and now ridden by Abdullah Mohd Al Marri for the United Arab Emirates, has helped the UAE to a commanding victory today’s four-star Nations Cup at Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. The UAE finished on a zero score while Germany took runner-up spot on 5 faults.


Ireland finished in fifth place on a final score of 32 faults with their only clear coming in the first round for Kildare’s Mikey Pender and HHS Calais (ISH), bred in Co Kilkenny by Ita Brennan.
