The nine-year-old gelding Iron Dames Just A Dream (ISH), bred in Kilkenny by Jimmy Lawler and previously ridden by Waterford’s Francis Connors, has taken victory in the three-star Grand Prix at Oliva in Spain. Now ridden by Germany’s Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann, Iron Dames Just A Dream (ISH) finished almost a second and-a-half ahead of Belgium’s Axel Vandoorne and Kaline de Fremis in second, while Derry’s David Simpson finished third with Ovidius Vd Donkhoeve.
