Irish riders closed out the final competition of the 2025 Winter Equestrian Festival in strong fashion, filling two of the top three places in Sunday’s $62,500 two-star Vogel Grand Prix at Wellington International in Florida.

A 19-horse jump-off saw Tyrone’s Niamh McEvoy and Sevilla Van De Berghoeve Z owned by Greg Broderick Ballypatrick Stables go clear in 36.32 seconds to finish as runners-up. Cork’s Simon McCarthy and Gotcha, owned by Rock Ridge Farms, were close behind in third (37.27). Victory went to Alise Oken (USA) and Lady Lex in a time of 36.32.
