Sarah Ennis and Grantstown Jackson (ISH) best of the Irish in Boekelo – Three Irish in top 10

Sarah Ennis and the Caroline Widger-bred Grantstown Jackson (ISH) have finished best of the Irish individually in the CCIO4*-L at Boekelo in The Netherlands.
A clear final Show Jumping round saw them finish in seventh place on a score of 31.3. Padraig McCarthy and his homebred gelding MGH Zabaione (ISH), have finished in eighth place on a score of 31.8 after picking up four faults at the first fence in their jumping round, while Susie Berry and John The Bull (ISH) finished equal 10th overall. Belgium’s Lara De Liedekerke-Meier took the individual win with Kiarado d’Arville.
A British team that included the David Harrison-bred Cooley Mosstown (ISH) secured victory in the team competition, while German were crowned 2025 FEI Eventing Nations Cup champions.
The Irish team, who had been lying in second place overnight in Boekelo, dropped out of the team honours when they were reduced to just two team members after the final horse inspection.
