Irish Draught Horse Breeders Association (IDHBA) National Breed Show
The Irish Draught Horse Breeders Association (IDHBA) national breed show took place at the weekend in Punchestown, Co Kildare.
Liam Lynskey’s Ds Bounce With Me Baby, by Moylough Bouncer out of Diomond Princess and bred by Brendan Duffy took the Champion mare title, with Reserve Champion mare going to Patrick Hoare’s Annamoe Blue Dancer by Crosstown Dancer out of Bannvalley Blueberry and bred by Paul Clarke. DS Bounce With Me Baby also went on to win the Supreme In Hand.
Una Holohan’s grey filly Hopetoun Holly, by Hollypark Diamond out of Clonad Juliana, bred by Una Holohan was named Champion Foal, while the Reserve Champion went to the Pj & Majella Glynn owned and bred Crannaghmore Lucky Dip by Moylough Legacy out of Edenagor Rosie.
The Youngstock Champion was John & Lisa Baker’s Malahow Graces Legacy, by Moylough Legacy out of Inisfree Farmers Daughte, bred by Jenifer Banks, with Reserve Youngstock Champion going to Padraig Bohan’s Whitefield Gabby by Carrickcottage Stagrey out of Coilldarach Miss Saigon, bred by Thomas Ormond.
Brian Murphy’s BC Flurry Knox, by Gortfree Lakeside Lad out of Garinion Na Sleibhte was named Ridden Champion, with the Reserve Ridden title going to Liam Lynskey’s Ds Bounce With Me Baby. BC Flurry Knox went on to win the Supreme Ridden Championship, with the Reserve Ridden Championship going to Ds Ballagh Bouncer by Moylough Bouncer out of Mount Diomond Princess.
