Niamh McEvoy wins Mullingar International Grand Prix

Tyrone’s Niamh McEvoy has added to her growing list of international wins, after she partnered the 11-year-old gelding Olympic ‘Gl’ ‘Fvd’ to victory in today’s (Monday) two-star Mullingar International Grand Prix.
Nine of the 57 starters made it into the jump-off in the competition which was also part of the Showjumping Ireland Plusvital Premier Series. McEvoy crossed the line clear in 46.49 seconds to take the winners prize, while Nicholas Butler was close behind in second with the Ladycastle Syndicate owned and bred Ladycastle Paco (ISH) (46.82). The only other double clear round came from Susan Fitzpatrick and Valisco PS who were last to go and crossed the line clear in 46.93.
